  1. Printer Admin - Print Polisher 1.0 - Installation  
   

 

In order to install Printer Admin - Print Polisher 1.0, you must have administrator rights on the installation computer.

System Requirements

Operating System          XP/2000/2003/Vista/Cluster/2008/Windows 7

CPU                                 300 Mh or higher

Memory                           256 MB or more

Hard Disk Free Space    2M

 
   

 

1, Double click Printer Admin --Print-Polisher.msi and follow the on screen instructions.

2, After Installation, a printer named Printer Admin - PrintPolisher in created.

  2. Printer Admin - Print Polisher 1.0 Client Edition  --- How to Use  
   

 

1, Print from any document.

2, Select printer: Printer Admin - PrintPolisher, and click Print button.

3, A preview window appears. Select layout: 1 up.

Example 1: Print footer to the page. The footer can include user name, computer name, page count, total pages, page m of n, day and any text you define.

Example 2: Add watermark. The watermark can include Company Confidential, Confidential, Draft, Final, Proof, Urgent and any text you define.

Example 3: Print multiple pages on single Sheet to save paper and ink /  toner.

Example 4: Right click the Preview window. From the popup menu, you can

  • Skip pages from Printing.

  • Export Print Page to BMP,JPG,TIFF,EMF,TGAPCX,JP2,JPC,PGX,PCX,RAS,PNM Images with only one mouse click.

  • Send Print Preview of complete Sheet as an attachment with Email.

  • Clipboard Copy as Bitmap/EMF support.

  3. Printer Admin - Print Polisher 1.0  --- Server Edition  
   

 

1, Install Printer Admin - Print Polisher on the print server, then share the printer: Printer Admin - PrintPolisher in the Windows Printers and Faxes folder.

 

 

2, On the workstations, add the shared printer e.g. \\2003s\Printer Admin - PrintPolisher.

 

3, On the workstation, send a print job from any document, then select the shared printer e.g. \\2003s\Printer Admin - PrintPolisher.

 

 

 

4, A preview window appears.

  4. Printer Admin - Print Polisher 1.0  Server Edition ---  How to lock and settings  
   

 

On the print server which has Printer Admin - PrintPolisher installed:

 

1. Download PrintSetter.exe from http://www.czsolution.com/download/Polisher/PrintSetter.exe .

 

2. Double PrintSetter.exe, then click Properties button on the PrintSetter window.

 

 

3. Set layout and Imprint, then click OK button to save.

 

 

 

4. On PrintSetting window, select "Lock Watermark Settings", then click OK to save.

 

 

On the workstation, send a print job from any document, then select the shared printer e.g. \\2003s\PrintPolisher.

 

 

 

A preview window appears, and the settings are locked.

 

 

 

Notes: We have another software Print Polish Marker can also add header / footer / watermark. It can be run as Windows service using Local System Account, so user can't change the settings. For more details, please click     Print Polisher vs Print Polish Marker.
